Ken: I finally received the ring yesterday after enduring a hurricane delay. I have to admit, I was disappointed at first because it appeared to lack a bright luster. However, it was night-time and I guess the lights in my apartment were not bright enough for me to fully appreciate the brilliance of the ring. Today, I opened the box in my office under flourescent lights and it looked great. Afterwards, I took it outside where I was temporarily blinded by its brilliance. I'm a happy camper now and appreciate the craftsmanship that went into the ring. Thanks, Mark
